Technical Advantages

- The explosion proof VFD has protection functions such as overload, short circuit, over voltage, under voltage, phase loss, temperature protection, leakage lock, etc., and is equipped with a 7 to 10 inch color display to display the status of each working condition in real time.
- This explosion-proof VFD adopts a three-level IGBT topological structure, which makes the output voltage waveform approach the sine wave, thereby increasing the output torque, reducing the motor noise and heat generation, and prolonging the service life of the motor.
- This explosion proof drive has the characteristics of small starting current, large starting torque and stable starting. Performance Characteristics

- The explosion proof VFD has the functions of current, power, frequency, fault alarm and equipment running status display.
- Constant torque characteristic: The drive in mining is loaded to the rated load and can output constant torque within the range of 5Hz~50Hz (allowable error is +8% rated value and -3% rated value).
- Power supply voltage fluctuation: The drive in mining can work normally when it fluctuates within the range of 85% Ue to 110% Ue.
- The speed stability of the drive in mining is not more than 1%.
- The efficiency of the explosion proof drive unit at the rated output frequency is not less than 95%.
- The drive in mining is loaded to 1.2 times the rated load and should be able to operate normally for 30 minutes. When the ambient temperature is 40 °C, the temperature rise limit value of the insulated coil, the temperature rise limit value of the terminal and the temperature rise limit value of the accessible parts shall not exceed the requirements of Table 2 under the rated voltage and rated load. The maximum surface temperature of the outer casing of the device does not exceed 150 °C. The temperature rise of the remaining components shall meet the requirements of Article 7.2.1 of MT111-2011.
- Overload protection: The drive in mining is loaded to 1.2 times rated load and can protect the action within 20min, and there is fault display.
- Instantaneous power-off protection: Loaded to rated load, artificially interrupt input power, and then send power, the mining drive must not be damaged, the system must not be self-starting, and there is fault display.
- Phase failure protection: the input terminal is out of phase, the explosion proof drive can't start; the output is out of phase, the mining drive can't start, and there is fault display.
- Overvoltage protection: When the input voltage is higher than 110% Ue, the explosion proof drive overvoltage protection action and fault display.
- Undervoltage protection: When the input voltage is lower than 85%Ue, the explosion proof drive undervoltage protection action and fault display.
- Short circuit protection: When any two phases of the output are short-circuited, the explosion proof drive should be able to protect the action when starting, and there is fault display.
- The acceleration and deceleration time are continuously adjustable: the acceleration and deceleration time of the frequency conversion speed regulating device should be continuously adjustable, and the upper limit value is not less than 60s.
- Frequency resolution: The output frequency resolution of the explosion proof drive is not more than 0.1Hz.
- Positive and negative sequence function: The explosion proof drive has the function of changing the phase sequence of the three-phase output.
- Capacitor discharge test: The time required for the capacitor to discharge to the remaining energy should be no more than 10 min and the capacitance value is 2565 μF.
- Main circuit leakage lock: The frequency conversion speed control device with main circuit leakage lock protection. When the insulation resistance of the main circuit to ground is lower than the setting value of Table 2, the main circuit leakage lock should be realized, when it rises to 1.5 times of the setting value. The main circuit leakage lock should be released.
- Air cooling and heat protection: When the temperature of the IGBT heat sink reaches 50 °C (can be set), the explosion proof VFD should be able to protect the action and display faults.
- Three-phase voltage allows unbalance: the normal voltage imbalance is allowed to be 2%, and the short-term must not exceed 4%. Frequency tolerance: The normal frequency deviation is allowed to be ±0.2 Hz.
- Voltage tolerance: The allowable deviation of the three-phase voltage of 10kV and below is ±7% of the nominal system voltage.
- With speed sensorless vector control, the explosion proof VFD guarantees 100% rated torque output when running at low frequency, and the maximum torque is 2.5 times of rated torque.
